National S'mores Day

Whew, its a good thing I looked at my calendar - I nearly missed it.  And what a sad, sad day tomorrow would have been...realizing that I missed out on celebrating the oozey melty goodness that are s'mores.


Since time was of the essence, we made faux microwave s'mores (faux'mores?)

Break your graham cracker into 4ths and top with chocolate

I found that using the Hershey mini bars work perfectly for making little 1/2 s'mores. Because let's face it, a whole smore would just get smeared all over Munchkin's face. 

Pop a marshmallow on top

Has everyone seen these cute little flat 'mallows? I just love 'em!
And then in the microwave for 20-25 seconds until the 'mallow puffs up

Then top with another graham 1/4
